Each year brings new milestones for New York Tech, but what makes those achievements possible is the collective strength of this community. Your support empowers our students, expands our research capabilities, and fuels the innovative spirit that defines our university. Over the past year, New York Tech has accelerated its momentum across academics, research, and student life:

• Our faculty secured more than $2.8 million in competitive federal research awards from the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation. These grants advance work in biomedical sciences, engineering, mathematics, physics, and psychology. They also give students meaningful, hands-on research experiences that prepare them for impactful careers with real-world applications.

• The 2025 Big Give exceeded last year’s results, raising $421,596 from 1,134 donors. This outpouring of support demonstrates the pride our community feels for New York Tech and the transformative opportunities philanthropy makes possible.

• We officially opened Startup Tech Central, the new hub for our Innovation and Entrepreneurship Academy, which launched in May with a $5 million venture fund to invest in startups. Complete with makerspaces, mentorship programs, and startup training, Startup Tech Central is a dynamic resource center focused on helping our students turn their ideas into real-world ventures and strengthening the region’s innovation ecosystem.

• Our journey toward becoming an R2-designated institution continues as we push the envelope for research through our state-of-the-art Biomedical Research, Innovation, and Imaging Center.

• We grew essential student support services, including Tech Threads, a free professional attire resource that already has accommodated more than 300 visits from students preparing for internships, interviews, and career opportunities.

These accomplishments are not just institutional milestones. They represent thousands of individual stories of possibility, students discovering their passions, researchers pushing boundaries, and entrepreneurs building the next generation of solutions. At the core of it all is you.
