Impressive Rise in Regional Rankings
For the first time, New York Institute of Technology ranks among the top 15 universities in the North, improving its position to No. 15 in the regional ranking, and for the 14th consecutive year is ranked among the top 50 universities in the North in the U.S. News & World Report 2025 Best Colleges ranking.
In addition to the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance student success and experiences and improve overall graduation rates, New York Tech’s strong ranking position is supported by improved Pell Grant graduation and first-year retention rates, along with increasing social mobility ranks.
