ALUMNI CONNECTIONS

Dear alumni and friends,
As autumn brings crisp air and vibrant colors, it’s the perfect season to reflect on stories, memories, and connections, much like the ones we’re gathering from our New York Tech community.
This summer, we partnered with Publishing Concepts (PCI) to create two oral-history coffee table books: one for all New York Tech and one for the College of Osteopathic Medicine, in celebration of 50 years on Long Island and 10 years in Arkansas. In just the first month, we’ve collected more than 2,500 stories—about friendships, professors, career successes, and more. Thank you to everyone who has shared so far.
If you’ve received a postcard or email from PCI, it’s on our behalf. Calling in allows you to update your information and share your story, ensuring you’re invited to events and receive relevant news. Please note your information is protected and will not be shared outside this project. While you may be offered the opportunity to purchase the book or branded merchandise, buying is optional—your participation matters most.
The project runs through January 2026. If you’d like to join in but haven’t received a communication, please contact PCI at 866.477.4103 or pciservice@publishingconcepts.com.
For questions, you can also reach me at 516.686.7504 or spolidor@nyit.edu, or visit our FAQ site.
Be well and Go Bears!
