New York Tech Elects Three New Trustees

New York Institute of Technology has elected three new trustees. An alumnus of the university’s medical school, a New York State Supreme Court judge, and an alumna of the university’s School of Architecture and Design are the newest members elected to the university’s governing board.

Humayun “Hank” Chaudhry (D.O. ’91) is president and chief executive officer of the Federation of State Medical Boards of the United States in Washington, D.C. The Hon. Angela G. Iannacci is an associate justice of the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Judicial Department. Additionally, returning to the board is Deborah Verderame (B.Arch. ’83), principal of Verderame | Cale architecture pllc. She was a long-serving member of the board from 2007 to 2022 when she became a trustee emeritus; Verderame is now returning to actively participate as a trustee of her alma mater.
