On October 16, academic, business, and civic leaders joined members of the New York Tech community to celebrate the official installation of President Jerry Balentine, D.O., as the university’s fifth president.

President Balentine assumed this role on July 1, sharing a bold vision for the university that includes increasing the number of student co-ops, internships, and research experiences; growing relationships across local, state, and federal levels; and continuing to strive toward becoming a Carnegie-classified Research 2 (R2) university.

To mark the occasion, the New York Tech community participated in a weeklong celebration of events.
